Yaasss Hunties...I too was just like you! My life was full of worries and it seemed like every door that opened, would slam harder in my face. I lived by the philosophy that everyone owes me, and I did not owe anything to anyone. It was my world, and I was living in it. Needless to say, I had a wakeup call from God one day. His voice rang loud and clear; “No one owes you anything...you owe your life to Me.” when I say that scared me, I had to get my life right and stop looking to people to give me what I wanted and seek God for what I needed. Through all the trials and tribulations that I faced in my life, I had to stop listening to man and leaning my ear more towards God. This may or may not be your story, but since I started listening, I started receiving the blessings that were and still are in store for me.

Now Listen Hunties and listen well, “WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU, IS FOR YOU!” I kept wanting to have all the fancy things in life; the cars, the clothes, the fancy rings and whatever made someone look in your direction; not realizing at that time in my life that it wasn’t even my blessing to want, I was being taught valuable lessons by the Creator Himself. I was learning to make mistakes and count my blessings at the same time to become the Woman of God I am today.

As many of you may already know, I am Shashicka Tyre-Hill; a mother, wife, serial entrepreneur, author, go-getter and a Woman of God; whom I owe all my successes to. My life has not been easy, but I made the best with what I had, and I kept striving to make it to the top.
